Battle items like Thunder Rage are useful in fighting against multiple enemies, while items that replenish HP and FP can be obtained through mushrooms, maple syrup, and cooking meals from Zess T. in Rogueport.

Cooking Mechanic

Zess T. can use one ingredient to cook a meal, but certain recipes require two ingredients. To unlock cooking with two ingredients, you will need to complete a Trouble Center request, which involves finding the Cookbook key item in the Creepy Steeple. Once you have the Cookbook, you can return to Zess T. and cook Mushroom Cake, which restores 10 HP and 10 FP.

Obtaining the Ingredients

To make the Mushroom Cake, you will need a Mushroom and a Cake Mix. Mushrooms can be found in various locations, and Cake Mix can be purchased from the Pianta Parlor in Rogueport. After acquiring the Cookbook, make your way to the Creepy Steeple and roll under the northern wall in Tube Mode to find the treasure chest containing the Cookbook. Exit the Creepy Steeple and go to Zess T.'s store to give her the Cookbook and begin cooking.
