Protein-Packed Moong Dal Cheela Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup moong dal, soaked for at least 3 hours
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil or ghee for cooking
Directions
- Drain the soaked moong dal and blend it with water in a blender until you get a smooth batter. Add water little by little as needed. The batter should have a pouring consistency.
- Add cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to the batter. Mix well.
- Heat a non-stick griddle over medium heat. Grease it lightly with oil or ghee.
- Pour a ladleful of batter on the griddle and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin pancake or cheela.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the bottom turns golden brown. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown as well.
- Repeat the above step with the remaining batter.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt.
