Blackberry Cobbler Recipe: A Sweet Family Tradition

Ingredients:
- 6 cups fresh blackberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon Demerara sugar (optional)
- Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for serving (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the blackberries and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch (23 cm) baking dish.
