Spicy Green Goddess Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped arugula
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices pepper jack cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, arugula, parsley, tarragon, chives, mayonnaise, garlic, jalapeño, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Form mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  4. Grill burgers for about 5 to 6 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  5. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each burger and top with a bun to toast slightly.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!

Brooklyn Iced Tea Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup limoncello
  • 1/2 cup white rum
  • 1/2 cup tequila
  • 1/2 cup sweetened tea
  • Lemon wedges, for garnish

Directions

  1. In a blender, mix together limoncello, white rum, tequila, and sweetened tea until combined.
  2. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge. Cheers to July Fourth!

Banana Brûlée Fool

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup crushed gingersnap cookies

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook sugar until it melts and turns a golden brown color, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  2. Add mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, stirring until well combined.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. In a medium bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold in Greek yogurt until just combined.
  5. Layer cooled banana mixture and cream mixture in individual serving dishes and top with crushed gingersnaps.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  7. Before serving, use a kitchen torch to brûlée the top of each dessert for extra caramelized flavor.
  8. Enjoy your sweet treat!
