How it all began

The partnership between Malibu and Oatly began about a year ago when Malibu mixologists visited Oatly HQ to experiment with various blends. The Piña Oatlada emerged as the standout favorite, and the two brands decided to launch it as a limited-edition dessert to bring out the spirit of summer and create good times.

Paradise Arches pop-up clubhouse

To celebrate the launch of the Piña Oatlada, Malibu and Oatly are opening Paradise Arches in Shoreditch, East London, on Friday 12th July. The exclusive pop-up clubhouse will be open until Friday 2nd August and offer a variety of free and ticketed events, including world-famous DJ sets, drag bingo, group karaoke, and supper clubs. Guests can enjoy Piña Oatlada soft serve and Malibu X Oatly-inspired cocktails and light bites while supplies last.

Recipe for Piña Oatlada

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of white rum
  • 2 scoops of Oatly oat milk vanilla ice cream
  • 4 tablespoons of pineapple juice
  • pineapple sauce and coconut flakes as garnish

Directions:

  1. In a blender, combine the white rum, Oatly oat milk vanilla ice cream, and pineapple juice.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve in a bowl or cone and garnish with pineapple sauce and coconut flakes.
