Creamy Malai Kofta Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup paneer, grated
  • 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp cornflour
  • 1/2 Cup Fresh Cream
  • 1 Tbsp Ghee

Directions:

  1. Mix grated paneer, boiled mashed potatoes, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, garam masala, and red chili powder in a bowl.
  2. Make small koftas out of the mixture and set them aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, and salt.
  4. Coat the koftas with the flour mixture and fry them till they are golden brown.
  5. In a separate pan, add ghee, fresh cream, and salt. Simmer for a few minutes.
  6. Add the koftas to the gravy, let it simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
