Cosmic Brownie Cheesecake Dippers
This dessert was created by Amber Palfy, The Rookery baker, for the Great Macon Baking Week competition. It combines the rich chocolate flavor of a cosmic brownie with the smoothness of cheesecake, creating a unique and delightful dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 box of cosmic brownie mix
- 1 8oz package of cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 8x8 inch baking pan
- Prepare the cosmic brownie mix according to the instructions on the box and pour half of the batter into the prepared pan
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth
- Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture and mix until well combined
- Pour the cream cheese mixture on top of the brownie batter in the pan
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top of the cream cheese mixture
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean
- Let cool and then cut into dippable squares
- In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together
- Dip the brownie squares into the melted chocolate and let cool
- Serve and enjoy!
