Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
Nothing beats a warm, freshly baked chocolate chip cookie straight from the oven. This recipe is guaranteed to give you soft, chewy cookies with just the right amount of sweetness.
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
