Ingredients
- 2 cups organic certified gluten-free oats
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (for chocolate chip cookie granola)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for double chocolate chip cookie granola)
- 1/2 cup raisins (for oatmeal raisin cookie granola)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for oatmeal raisin cookie granola)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the oats, oat flour, coconut oil, coconut sugar, applesauce, vanilla extract, and sea salt until well combined.
- Add the chocolate chips or cocoa powder or raisins and cinnamon, depending on which flavor you are making, and mix well.
- Spread the mixture in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden-brown and crispy, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- Break the granola into small clusters and store in an airtight container.
